The Eagle Soars
Jul 22 2007, 3:35 PM EDT | Post edited: Jul 22 2007, 3:35 PM EDT
The eagle soars,
high above the mountains,
scanning for a predator
or his lunch.
His wings are magniicent
and he soars towards earth.
The sky looks like it's on fire.
The sky ablaze
and the Eagle soars,
fearing no one
not even the sky that is on fire.

2. The Angels Are Crying

The angels are crying,
as the smell of battle stays in their heads.
Archangels wipe away tears
as they count the youth that are dead.
The war is a living hell.
No one wants their child there.
The war is wrong, so ver wrong
and our president does not care.
He does not care for the lives lost.
Tears fall like rain.
He does not give peace to the families just leaves them in turmoil and pain.

3. The Towers Fell

The towers fell
a nation in tears,
loved ones lost
forced to confront our fears.
The planes became missles
from out of the sky.
3,000 killed
and we are left asking why.
The tears,the heartbreak
the inner pain the was terrifying
the reasoning.

5. Invisable Woman

Invisable woman,
walking alone through life.
She casts no shadow,
she walks alone.
The invisable woman
weeps gently
while life goes on around her
but exclude her.
The invisable woman,
just another cast off
as a single tear slides down her cheek.

6. The Prison Doors

The prison door slams shut
echoing
throughout the surreal existence
No silence,
endless violence.
